Leonie Creswell enjoys a varied role within local communities as a teacher, accompanist and choir director. Her early years in Southern Africa provided many opportunities to develop these roles before studying the piano in London with both Alexander Ardakov and jazz pianist Pete Saberton.

WILL MCKECHNIE: GUITAR / TUES, THURS 15:30-19:00 & SAT 09:00-16:00

I have been playing music professionally, both individually and in live bands, since 2013. I was awarded a BA in Popular Music from the University of Hull and an MMus in Songwriting from Bath Spa University. My specialities include live improvisation, musical theory, collaborative songwriting and live band arranging.

I started my guitar career around the age of 12, taking lessons with local guitar supremo Ron Burbela for 6 years. I respect all forms of guitar music, but I have always found myself primarily drawn to the guitar based bands of the late sixties and seventies. Having performed in live bands locally for over 15 years, teaching has become the most important aspect of musical enjoyment for me and inspired the idea behind TM Music.

RHIANNON EVANS: PIANO / MON, THURS 16:00-19:00 & SAT 09:00-13:00

BA hons University of Hull. I have been teaching music for adults and children in piano, clarinet, music theory (Grades 1-5) and singing for a number of years. I have been in a number of choirs, orchestras, jazz bands and have taken part in drama sessions for the Lion King, Broadway New York. My musical interests span from classical, jazz and rock to medieval music.

I have played the drums for 56 years, initially with beat groups in the 60's, before moving into cabaret as a backing drummer for many years. As cabaret work became less available, I went back to working in pubs and clubs, which I still do. My biggest influence is Buddy Rich, who I had the pleasure of meeting. My teaching style is relaxed, steadily progressive and sympathetic to the expectations of my students.
